Police say four women between the ages of 25 and 36 were arrested in a prostitution sting in Fairview Township on Thursday. Undercover officers from three different counties arranged to meet with prostitutes at various motels in the township.
Belinda Graham, 30, of Atlanta, Ga.; Fu Xiao Li, 36, originally from Malaysia; Ylynn Baskerville, 25; and Courtney Thompson-Wagner, 27 are charged with one count of promoting prostitution.
Additionally, both Baskerville and Thompson-Wagner are charged with robbery. Baskerville is also charged with receiving stolen property.
The women were arrested as they attempted to leave the motel. A .40 caliber semi-automatic handgun was found inside Baskerville’s purse. She told police the plan was to rob the “Johns” at gunpoint.
Police said the gun was reported stolen in Fairview Township back in 2010.
Over $2,600 in cash was seized during the sting.
Officers from the York County District Attorney’s Office, the York County Sheriff’s Department, Lower Allen Township Police Department, Swatara Township Police Department, and Steelton Borough Police Department assisted Fairview Township Police in the Sting.
Investigators say while it has not been confirmed, it is possible that Fu Xiao Li is a victim of Human Trafficking.
