A man is in serious condition after his car collided with a train in Mifflin County just after 10:00 a.m. Friday.
Fire crews responded to the intersection of Route 103 and Anderson Road in Granville Township. Officials say an elderly man was trapped inside and crews had to extract him from his car by taking off the roof.
The man was flown to a nearby hospital in serious condition. At this time the name of the man is not being released.
Officials say no one on the train was injured.
