A Lancaster City woman is charged with setting fire in her apartment building. City firefighters responded to the fire at 438 East King Street at about 10:28 am. The first crews on scene reported heavy smoke pouring from the third floor. The fire was under control within minutes.
A State Police Marshal quickly determined that the fire was deliberately set. City detectives after talking to various witnesses identified Sharea Autry as a suspect. The 28 year old woman lived in the apartment where the fire started.
As a result of their investigation police charged Autry with Arson and Risking a Catastrophe.
