Dauphin County Prison lockdown lifted, visitation resumes

Dauphin County Prison officials are lifting the lockdown that was imposed on the morning of Sunday, June 29 when medical staff could not account for ten insulin needles.  The prison is now resuming normal operations and visitation.

Although the needles were not accounted for, the facility was thoroughly searched and secured to ensure the safety of the inmates, prison employees and visitors.
