Home care giver arrested on theft charge

A home care worker is accused of stealing more than $500,000 of jewelry from her York County client.  Fairview Township responded on May 26, to a call from the victim who lives in the 700 block of Pinetown Road.  The victim reported between April 2014 and May 2014 someone stole numerous pieces of unique, high quality jewelry from the house.

An investigation led to the arrest on Tuesday of a visiting caregiver, Tammi Alabdulla, 45,  of Elizabethtown. Alabdulla is charged with Theft and Receiving Stolen Property. Following arraignment, Alabdulla was sent to York County Prison in lieu of $150,000.
