Pennsylvania man attacked with sword because of $6 gift card

swordfightA man was attacked with a sword outside of Pittsburgh, and it all started because of a $6 gift card.

An argument started outside of a camper in North Union Township.

Two exes were fighting over a $6 Walmart gift card, this led to an argument over their past relationship.

The woman’s current husband tried to break things up  and says the old boyfriend attacked him with a sword, badly cutting him.

The victim, Chad Workman, said he drove his attacker off with a barbecue brush.

Workman said, “Once right across the head. Reporter: And that’s all it took? That’s all it took. Soon as I cracked him he was gone.”

He is now recovering from his injuries.

Police arrested the suspect.
