At least three locomotives derailed and caught fire.

Witnesses say they could hear the collision.

Roy Sharp said, “I was on my computer in my room and I heard this horrendous noise it was loud and I could tell it was a train.”

Authorities evacuated nearby homes and businesses as a precaution while they investigated the scene.
