In Jacobus, York County, people gathered for a “beep baseball game” for the visually impaired. The Jacobus Lions Club Baseball Team took on ForSight Vision’s “Thunder Sticks” for the annual baseball game.

The players who aren’t visually impaired wore blindfolds. Fox43’s photojournalist Anthony Grove captured how players who aren’t visually impaired got the chance to see what it’s like. The pitched baseball emits a beeping sound.
One player, who lost his vision in an accident in 19-92 says the game is near and dear to him.

“When I connected with the ball, it reminded me of the old days when I used to play little league baseball and it really brought back memories and I got the bug and I’ve been ever since,” Scott Berubi, a visually impaired player said.

The Lions Club presented ForSight Vision with 500 dollars.
