Three injured in Lancaster County crash

Three people are injured, one seriously, in a one car crash in Lancaster County. It happened at about 1:47 pm along the 2400 block of Old Philadelphia Pike(Route 340) near Airport Road in East Lampeter Township.

The westbound vehicle, a two door coupe, for an unknown reason, crossed over the center-line into the eastbound lane and slammed head on into a utility pole in front of the Smoketown Diner. The force of impact entrapped the victims who were freed by fire rescue. The heavily traveled roadway was closed for about hour.
