Fire crews in Lancaster County battle flames at a local family run motel.
Fire broke out at the Bird In Hand Family Inn, on the 2700 block of Old Philadelphia Pike in Leacock Township, around 5:00 Saturday evening.

Motel guests were evacuated as crews brought the flames under control. Most of the smoke and fire damage was contained to the lobby area and the roof above.

At one point, the fire reached two-alarms, with more than a dozen pieces of fire equipment on the scene.

No injuries have been reported and investigators say the cause is likely gas related.
Two motel rooms were damaged, those guests are being relocated to other areas of the facility.
