Apartment fire in Columbia

One firefighter was injured in an apartment fire in Columbia Wednesday morning.

According to dispatch, the fire broke out just after 9 a.m.  along the 100 block of North Third Street. Officials say there everyone did make it out of the apartment safely.

One firefighter was taken to the hospital with a heat related issue.

Fire crews are still on scene trying to determine a cause of the fire.
