Tobacco companies announce billion dollar merger

Reynolds America and Lorillard announced the deal, which is valued at more than $27 billion.

The companies also announced that some of their tobacco brands will be sold off as part of the merger.

Phillip Morris remains the world’s leading cigarette maker.
