A fugitive from York is arrested by U.S. Marshals in Ohio.    Shawn Kevin Fake, 45, had been wanted for the past three years by York City Police for multiple sex offenses committed against two children.

This morning deputy U.S. Marshals went to a home in the 800 block of Kenilworth Drive in Warren, Ohio. Fake, who initially gave the Marshals a false name, was taken into custody without incident.

Fake faces 22 counts of Forcible Rape, Rape of Persons Less than 13 year of age, Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse, Statutory Sexual Assault, Aggravated Indecent Assault and Corruption of Minors.  York City Police obtained a warrant for his arrest in March 2011. Investigators over the years pursued leads in Pennsylvania, Maryland and Ohio.  Fake avoided capture by using false names and living as a homeless person.
