Police need help from the public in identifying two suspects in a series of restaurant burglaries in northwestern Lancaster County. The incidents occurred over the last three weeks. All the restaurants are long Route 743, the Hershey Road, just north of Elizabethtown in Mount Joy Township.

The Trolley Stop Restaurant at 346 Hershey Road was burglarized on June 28, again on Monday July 14 and for the third time Wednesday night, July 16. The suspect(s) ransacked the business after forcing open the back door. Cash and a computer were stolen.

Also on Wednesday night, the Country Meadows Restaurant at 81 Hershey Road was burglarized after a back door was forced open. The two restaurants are about a quarter of a mile apart.

Northwest Regional Police released surveillance photos of the suspects.  Anyone with information on the burglaries is asked to contact Northwest Regional Police at (717) 367-3382 ext 111. Ask for Detective Frank Ember.
