Porcelain dolls are found at the homes of eight families in California, and the dolls resemble the young girls that live at the homes.

Orange County Sheriff’s Department Lt. Jeff Hallock says the disturbing pattern is under investigation.

Hallock said that some of the girls attend the same elementary, and all are around 10 years old.

The families all live in the same residential development, known as Talega.

No other information was immediately available.
