Police seek male suspect in Manheim Township robbery

Police are looking for a male suspect after they say he attacked and robbed a woman in her home in Manheim Township.

Police say on Wednesday afternoon  a 22-year-old woman was entering her home along the 1400 block of East King Street in Lancaster when she was attacked by a man with a knife.

The woman struggled with the suspect and received several minor cuts to her upper body police said. The suspect was able to get away with the woman’s wallet and an undisclosed amount of cash.

The victim was transported to Lancaster General Hospital for treatment. Police say the suspect is described a white male, about 6′ tall, with blonde hair, thin build, and was wearing a dark blue long sleeve shirt with black cargo pants and black Nike shoes.
