An arrest has been made in the theft of two charity donation jars full of money in Manchester Township.
Amber Lynn Shaffer, 29, of York, is charged with two counts of theft by unlawful taking and two counts of receiving stolen property, police said.
The jars were stolen on July 6 from a store located along the 500 block of Greenbriar Road and on July 13 from a store along the 2100 block of Susquehanna Trail.
Investigators believe Shaffer is connected with similar thefts in other townships.
