York homicide suspect arrested in Virginia; Ex-girlfriend charged

A woman is facing charges after she was found Monday in Virginia with her ex-boyfriend who was wanted for criminal homicide in York .

Karina Paulette DeJesus, 23, is charged with hindering apprehension. The charge was filed Monday before District Judge Richard E. Martin II.

U.S. Marshals found DeJesus with 27-year-old Jeffrey Reid in Richmond, Virginia.

Reid is charged with criminal homicide in connection with the July 19 death of  23-year-old Dashaun Davis.

Reid is also suspected of a home invasion and robbery along the 400 block of East Market Street and another home invasion along the 600 block of West Philadelphia Street. Both incidents happened on the same night of the shooting.

The York County District Attorney’s office is unsure when the pair will return to Pennsylvania.
