Pouch full of cash taken from car wash in York

Police say the woman in these surveillance pictures picked up a pouch full of money accidentally left behind at a York Township car wash. The victim told police he left the pouch at the car wash located in the 2000 block of South Queen Street, York Township on July 11th. In addittion to a large amount of cash, the pouch held the victim’s driver’s license, and other information identifying the victim. At approximately 6:15 pm hours on the same date, surveillance cameras captured a white female with brown hair arriving at the business in a gray Kia Soul. She found the pouch and placed it inside her vehicle.  The woman has not returned the pouch to the victim as of this date.


The female located in the photograph and/or anyone who can identify the female in the photograph is asked to contact Officer Michael Zinn of the York Area Regional Police Department at 717-741-1259.
