York Adams Football League Media Day

Practice for the high school football season starts on Wednesday.  On Monday, players and coaches from the York-Adams League met with reporters on media day.  And this year, the league has a new member, Gettysburg.  They left the Mid-Penn to join the York-Adams.

Matt Heiser, Gettysburg Head Football Coach

“You really have to get out of your box and think a little bit harder now because being in the Mid-Penn, you have been there so long, the league doesn’t change much and you still see some guys and you have a comfort level”.

Nathan Sharrah, Gettysburg Senior RB/OLB

“Its different, we are all excited about it.  Its new competition.  We had the Mid-Penns where we knew everybody, we knew what we were going into each game.  This year it will be different, we have to take game by game.”

Gettysburg will kick off the season Friday, August 29th at South Western.
