Peach Bottom man arrested for multiple burglaries throughout Lancaster County

State police in Lancaster have filed charges against a 31-year-old Peach Bottom man for committing multiple burglaries throughout Lancaster that started back in June.

Charles Rutledge is now charged with seven counts of burglary, criminal conspiracy to commit burglary and eight counts of theft.

According to police the burglaries occurred at multiple locations in  Fulton Township with one burglary occurring in East Drumore Township between June 22 and June 29.

Various tools, mainly Stihl weed eaters and Stihl chain saws, were taken along with 12 volt batteries and a gun police said totaling over $8,000 dollars.

Police say Rutledge is also charged in the theft of two Yorkie puppies from 215 Little Road that were valued at $1,100.00

Rutledge is currently in Lancaster County prison.
