A Lancaster man faces charges after police say he stabbed his son with a pair of pliers during a fight Wednesday afternoon.
William E. McCracken, of the first block of New Dorwart Street, was charged with simple assault.
Officers responded to McCracken’s home for a report of a stabbing around 4:52 p.m.
According to police reports, the men were involved in a dispute when McCracken grabbed a pair of needle-nose pliers and stabbed his son.
The victim suffered superficial wounds to his torso and bicep, authorities said.
McCracken was arrested and taken to Lancaster County Prison on lieu of $15,000 bail.
