The state attorney general’s office announces the arrest of two men, one from York County and one from Dauphin County on child predator charges.
As part of ongoing investigations for possible child predators, agent identified a computer on a peer to peer network making several media files, believed to depict child pornography, available for download. The computer’s IP address was identified as serving the home of Benjamin Jenkins, 30, of Harrisburg.
State agents armed with a search warrant went to Jenkins on Jonestown Road and seized his computers. A forensics search found that it contained in excess of 200 video files of suspected child pornography.
Jenkins was taken into custody on Wednesday and charged with 23 counts of Distribution of Child Pornography, 25 counts of Possession of Child Pornography and Criminal Use of a Communication facility.
State agents on Tuesday arrested Scott Rosenfeld, 41, of Dover, York County. A forensic search of a computer and thumb drive seized at Rosenfeld’s Weeping Willow Lane home revealed 200 images and 10 video files containing suspected child pornography.
Rosenfeld is charged with 25 counts of Possession of Child Pornography, four counts of Distribution of Child Pornography and Criminal Use of a Communication Facility.
