COOLER END:  The week ends on a cooler note, with temps well below average.  Highs today will be in the middle to upper 70s with sunshine turning to partly cloudy skies in the afternoon.  A stray shower may pass quickly as a secondary cold front slips through.  Tonight, we cool to the 50s!

Friday, sun mixes with some afternoon clouds.  Highs are only in the middle 70s.  It’s a September like feel for sure.  Enjoy!

WEEKEND:  High pressure continues to build in for Saturday.  We’ll start to warm a bit as temperatures move toward 80°.  Enjoy more sunshine and low humidity air.  However, the active pattern continues as another system dives toward us for Sunday.  We’re partly cloudy with the chance for showers and storms as it rolls though during the day.  Expect highs in the low to middle 80s Sunday with the return to humid air.

NEXT WEEK: There remains a lot of uncertainty in next week’s fore cast.  As the jet stream stays to the north, slow moving weak waves roll eastbound.  Models continue to vary on timing and strength of a low pressure system developing.  This keeps a period of unsettled weather in the picture.  For now, we have partly to mostly cloudy skies from Monday through midweek, with rain chances in the forecast for Tuesday into Wednesday.  Highs are near seasonal averages – in the middle 80s.  Much can change so check back often.

Make it a great Thursday!
