Elderly man victim in home invasion/robbery

An 80 year old man is the victim in a home invasion/robbery in Cumberland County.  Police were called to the victim’s home at about 11:15 pm Thursday night in the first block of West Glenwood Drive, Camp Hill.

The victim told East Pennsboro Police that a male pushed his way into the home when the victim answered a knock at his door. The man grabbed the victim, tied him up then stole money including a change container, jewelry and the victim’s car, a Chevrolet Cobalt. The victim eventually freed himself and called 911. He suffered a minor injury.

The stolen car was recovered about two hours later in Harrisburg. The suspect, who did not display a weapon, is a white male, approximately 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall, between 30 and 40 years of age with a medium to muscular build and short hair.
