People gathered at the Unitarian Church of Harrisburg Sunday for a vigil and pray service in honor of Michael Brown.

Brown, 18, was shot and killed by a police officer in Ferguson, Missouri last week.

Since the deadly shooting, protests and riots have broken out in Ferguson, as hundreds of people demand justice.

During the service in Harrisburg, church leaders lit candles and joined members of the community to pray for an end to the violence.

There was also a discussion about ways members of the Harrisburg community can work together in peace with local law enforcement officials to prevent a similar tragedy from happening in our area.
