Two Cumberland County women are cited over the weekend for fighting over a posting on Facebook. West Shore Regional Police responded to a call at about 11:20 am in the first block of North 10th Street in Lemoyne for a non-active assault that had occurred there.
It was learned that Myraida Melendez, a resident, had been in a fight with Lakeyva Davis, of the first block of B Street in Carlisle Borough, in front of Melendez’s home. Davis was no longer on the scene when police arrived.
The fight supposedly stemmed over a dispute on Facebook. Both women suffered minor scrapes and bruises.
Both Melendez and Davis were cited for Disorderly Conduct for fighting in public.
