The following is a press release from East Lampeter Township police in Lancaster County:

“At approximately 12:40 am, Monday, 8/25/14, an armed robbery occurred in the 300 block of East Eby Road.   An Amish horse and buggy with three occupants was traveling east when an approaching westbound white minivan pulled into their lane, forcing the buggy to stop.   An unknown male with his face covered and displaying a firearm exited the van and demanded money. The victims tossed their wallets to the suspect then steered the buggy into an adjacent field to get away.   The suspect got back into the white minivan, which was last seen fleeing west on E. Eby Road.   None of the victims were injured.   Anyone with information is asked to contact East Lampeter Police Detective Scott Eelman (717) 291-4676.”

Unbelievable what is wrong with people?? Get a job and you wouldn’t be doing this. People work hard for the money they earn to have some punks take it away. What has happened to honor thy neighbor? People need to start caring about other people even if they dont know you. Say hi to someone and be curtious. Isn’t that what you want? Smile no matter what happens.
