Lewistown woman accused of stealing $1,000 in groceries from Walmart

A 37-year-old woman is accused of stealing approximately $1,000 in groceries from the Walmart in Swatara Township.

Clarice Lyles, of Lewistown, is charged with retail theft.

Police were called to the Walmart along the 6500 block of Grayson Road  on Aug. 19  for a report of a woman who left the store without paying for her groceries.

Investigators were able to track Lyles down after getting a license plate number from loss prevention employees.
