August is Peach Month. So Michelle Bonsick with Fine Wine and Good Spirits gets us in the spirit with a few peach cocktail recipes.
Peach Mojito
• 1 oz 99 Peaches
• 1 oz Cruzan Peach Rum
• ½ oz simple syrup
• ½ oz lime juice
• 1 oz club soda
• mint leaves
Muddle mint leaves with lime juice and simple syrup. Add rum, peach schnapps and ice. Stir gently and top with club soda.
Grand Raspberry Peach Margarita
• ¾ oz Grand Marnier Raspberry Peach
• 1 ½ 1800 Silver Tequila
• ½ oz fresh lime juice
• ½ oz simple syrup
In a shaker, add Grand Marnier Raspberry Peach, tequila, lime juice and simple syrup. Fill with ice, shake well and strain into a margarita glass or over fresh ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with a lime wheel and a raspberry.
Peach Palmer
• 2 oz. Sweet Carolina Vodka
• 1 oz. New Amsterdam Peach Vodka
• splash of orange juice
• peach wedge
Pour vodkas and juice over ice in a Mason jar or highball glass. Garnish with peach wedge.
