DODGING T’STORMS
The warmth and humidity continue to build as we continue through the rest of the weekend. It’s a muggy and warm night, with lows falling into the upper 60s to lower 70s. It’s partly to mostly cloudy, with a stray shower possible. Some hazy and foggy areas form close to daybreak. They burn off by the late morning hours, allowing some sunshine to work in. The sunshine is limited though, with showers and thunderstorms popping up during the afternoon. Some locally heavy downpours are possible. Highs are hot and humid, in the middle 80s to near 90 degrees.
LABOR DAY FORECAST
Labor Day a few isolated thunderstorms are still possible, but it won’t put a damper on any outdoor plans. Locally heavy downpours are possible with any thunderstorms that form. It’s still very warm and steamy too. Temperatures reach the middle to upper 80s on Sunday and Monday.
STAYING WARM
Tuesday our next system approaches. This brings a better chance for thunderstorms with highs near 90 degrees. The sun is back on Wednesday, and this continues into Thursday and Friday. Highs remain above seasonal averages through the rest of the week. Our next thunderstorm chance comes on Saturday as a cold front approaches.
Have a great Labor Day Weekend!
