Police make arrest in Cumberland County robberies

Police arrested a Harrisburg man in connection to a string of robberies in Cumberland County.

Joseph Brissey was taken into custody for the August 28th robbery at the Rite Aid in Hampden Township.  A joint investigation with Camp Hill, East Pennsboro, West Shore, and Fairview Township Departments found that Brissey is linked to other robberies in Cumberland County. Those robberies  happened at a Sunoco in Camp Hill  and a Turkey Hill in Lemoyne.  Police say Brissey is also connected to an attempted robbery at a McDonald’s  in East Pennsboro Township.

The suspect is charged with three counts of robbery, theft by unlawful taking, making terroristic threats, and criminal attempted robbery.

Brissey was taken to Cumberland County Prison.
