LANCASTER, Pa. (WPMT)- Police are investigating a homicide that took place early Wednesday morning in Lancaster City.

Officers were called to an apartment on the 800 block of N. Lime Street shortly after 2 a.m. for a report of a cardiac arrest.

According to police reports,  the adult male was found dead inside the apartment by a friend. The unidentified man had visible traumatic injuries, investigators said. At this time, the Lancaster City Police Department are treating this as a homicide.

Determination of cause of death is pending an autopsy. Authorities expect to release the identity of the man once his next of kin is notified.

No suspects or motive have been identified.
