Authorities are continuing to investigate two homicides that occurred back in June of this year.

According to police a $2,500 reward is being offered by the Lancaster Township Supervisors for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the fatal shooting of 26-year-old Jonathan Santiago of Lancaster. The incident happened around 11:37 p.m. on June 15th in the 400 block of South West End Avenue. Officers found Santiago lying in the street. He was taken to the hospital where he died as a result of his injuries. Initial witness statements indicated persons involved in the shooting may have fled the area in an unknown vehicle.

The second homicide that police continue to investigate is the fatal shooting of 25-year-old Xavier Garriga. The incident happened around 3:22 a.m. on June 21 on New Holland Avenue near Fountain Avenue. Officers found Garriga lying on the sidewalk. He was also taken to the hospital where he later died as a result of his injuries.

In both cases officers are continuing to follow leads, examine evidence and conduct interviews in an attempt to determine who is responsible. Anyone with any information on these two crimes is asked to call Manheim Township Police Department at 717-569-6401.
