Apple is planning to roll out new security measures for iCloud users in the wake of a hacking scandal in which nude photos belonging to female celebrities were leaked to the public.

The company says it will begin using email and push notifications to alert users when someone tries to change an account password, restore cloud data on a new device, or connect an unfamiliar device to an existing apple account.

The tech giant says it will also increase its use of “two-factor authentication” which requires any user to have two or three pieces of intricate information before being able to log in.
