(CNN) — Weatherford, OK – The golden arches lying amongst crushed metal and shattered glass. The surprise at this Weatherford McDonald’s did not come from a happy meal. The restaurant’s sign came tumbling down on drive-thru customers Thursday morning.
One of the victims was treated and released from the hospital but the other one is dealing with head and neck injuries and is still in the hospital. The person had to be extricated with hydraulic equipment. It took firefighters 15 to 20 minutes to get the man out of his flattened car. The 74-year-old woman who was in the other car, suffered cuts and bruises.
