FEW STORMS:  It’s partly to mostly cloudy today as a cold front moves through.  We warm into the middle 80s today as humidity ticks up a bit.  Expect a few widely scattered showers this morning.  Then a cold front will fire showers and some thunderstorms during afternoon hours, tapering in the evening.  Storms may contain heavy downpours and some gusty winds, but the severe weather threat has diminished.  We’re partly to mostly cloudy overnight as the cooler air glides in.  Lows drop to the upper 50s.

COOLER:  Cooler, drier air is here for the end of the week.  Clouds are slow to clear for sunshine.  Highs only hit the low to middle 70s on Friday!  Friday night football games will feature passing clouds and a fall feel as temperatures slip through the 60s.

WEEKEND:  Another system will bring us clouds and some showers for Saturday.  We’ll only make it to the upper 60s with a cool and damp day.  By Sunday, the system is gone and we’ll break for more sunshine.  Highs are closer to 70°.

NEXT WEEK:  Sun gives way to late clouds on Monday as a weak system slips in overnight.  Highs hit the low 70s.  Tuesday brings more clouds and the chance for some showers.  Highs will be in the low 70s again.  We begin to clear again for midweek, staying below average.

Have a terrific Thursday!
