West Manchester Twp. police searching for armed bank robbery suspect

WEST MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WPMT)- Police are looking for a man who robbed the Susquehanna Bank along the 1200 block of Carlisle Road in West Manchester Township on Thursday morning.

A man entered the bank around 9 a.m. and initially asked the bank teller about opening an account, police said. A short time later--the man pulled out a gun and demanded money. The man got away with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to investigators.

The suspect  is described as a black man, in his late 30s or early 40s, bald with a salt and pepper beard . He was wearing khaki pants and a black polo shirt with the word "Royal" on the upper left side of the shirt.

No one was hurt during the robbery.
