Saturday's rain didn't keep thousands of people from enjoying a little Latin flair in downtown Lancaster.

The Latin Cultural Center hosted its 2nd annual Latin American Festival at Binns Park.

The event celebrates the growing Latin American community here in Central Pennsylvania.

It showcased a variety of foods and dances from Latin American countries including salsa and tango.

Donna Chambers, vice president of the Latin American Cultural Center says, "The beautiful thing about this festival is that we all come together and we share everyone's culture, so there should be a little bit of everybody represented, even Brazil."

Event organizers say close to 10,000 people from across the state attended the event.
