The York County SPCA hosted its 2nd Annual “Woof and Wine” event on Sunday.
The family friendly event was held at Naylor Wine Cellars in Stewartstown.
Some folks who attended got to try six different types of wine and had the opportunity to play with shelter dogs who are looking for a forever home.
Kathleen Tunney, Fund Development Director says, “The idea is for people to come out and have a good time, sample some wines, meet some adoptable dogs, like Rosie. Just have a good time, all to raise money for the York County SPCA.”
Seven dogs were up for adoption at the event. Folks who didn’t go home with a new pup got a chance to win some raffle prizes. Some even took home a special York County SPCA wine glass.
