Coroner says Harrisburg man shot through the heart

HARRISBURG, Pa. – Dauphin County Coroner Graham Hetrick identified the victim in a weekend fatal shooting as 23 year old Charles L. Tate, III, of Harrisburg.  Tate was found lying along the 300 block of South 14th Street at about 2:30 am Saturday.

Hetrick said Tate died of a single gunshot wound almost directly through the heart.  So far no arrests in the case. Anyone with any information on the case is asked to contact Detective Lachini at (717) 255-3118.
