One dead, one hurt in Paradise Twp. motorcycle crash

PARADISE TWP., Pa. (WPMT)- One person was killed and another injured after a motorcycle crashed in Lancaster County on Sunday.

Pennsylvania State Police said the motorcycle was traveling north on Route 896 in Paradise Township when a pickup truck pulled into its path. Both the driver and passenger were  thrown off the motorcycle.

The unidentified driver was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The passenger was taken to Lancaster General Hospital for treatment.

Both the driver and passenger in the pickup truck were treated at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
