Two dead in head on crash in Lebanon County

SOUTH LEBANON TOWNSHIP, Pa.-(WPMT) South Lebanon Township Police identify a second victim in the aftermath of a deadly head on crash and roll over at around 7:14 Sunday night along the 1900 block of East Cumberland Street (Route 422).

Township police say that Dixon Santana-Vazquez, 22, of Lebanon died of his injuries at the hospital.  He was one of three passengers in a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse, driven by Zakari A. Bennett, 22, of Lebanon. Police say Zakari’s eastbound car crossed the centerline and struck an eastbound 2008 Jeep Liberty driven by David P. Arnold, 28, of Myerstown.  Bennett was pronounced dead at the scene by the Lebanon County Coroner.  Other passengers in Zakari’s car were identified as Darius M. Zook, 23, of Rexmont, and Kumar Persaud, 18, of Lebanon.  No word on their conditions.

Police say four passengers were in Arnold’s Jeep, Amarilys Nadal, 34, Marissa Nadal, Christian Nadal and Alaina Arnold, age 6, all from Myerstown. The injured were taken to Good Samaritan Hospital and Hershey Medical Center.  No word on their conditions.

    Dixon A. Santana Vazquez was a man. Not a woman. He was actually serving in the USMC reserve. Get your facts right before you post Fox. My condolences to all the families. Dixon siempre te recordaremos. RIP
