They earned a wildcard berth in 2012 to end a run of 14 consecutive losing seasons.  No wildcard game to worry about this time for the Orioles.   For the first time in 17 seasons, the O’s are American League East Division Champions.   They improve to 91-60 overall with an 8-2 thrashing of the Toronto Blue Jays.    Baltimore seals the title with 11 games left in the regular season.    They have a chance to earn the number one seed in the AL Playoffs but will most likely host Detroit or Kansas City in the AL Division Series that starts on Thursday, October 2nd.
