LOWER PAXTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WPMT)- A man was arrested Tuesday after he was allegedly caught with a stolen gun and drugs during a traffic stop in Lower Paxton Township.
Malcom Simpson, 20, is charged with receiving stolen property, firearms not to be carried without a license, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and a summary traffic violation.
Officers stopped Simpson for a traffic violation along Williamsburg Drive around 11:23 p.m.
During a search of the vehicle–investigators uncovered a loaded stolen gun, marijuana and a digital scale. Authorities said the gun was reported stolen to the West Shore Regional Police Department.
Simpson was taken to Dauphin County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 9.
