STAYING MILD: The quiet weather pattern stays in place for the remainder of the week. We keep highs in the low to mid 70s today with lots of sunshine and a few passing clouds. Thursday starts near 50°, with temperatures topping out in the middle 70s. Expect periods of passing clouds Thursday as a front glides south. Friday, cooler air slips in from the north, with highs only in the upper 60s under mostly sunny skies. Enjoy!
WEEKEND: As high pressure moves out, a slow moving storm system starts its march eastward. However, the weekend looks pretty quiet with gradual warming. It’s mostly sunny Saturday with highs in the middle 70s. Sunday, we add more clouds with highs near 80°.
NEXT WEEK: The front finally pushes through on Monday, with scattered showers expected overnight Sunday into Monday. Highs hit the lower 70s under mostly cloudy skies. Cooler air spills in right on cue with the arrival of fall. Highs will drop to the 60s for mid-week.
FALL EQUINOX: Fall begins Monday evening at 10:29PM. The direct rays from the sun cross the equator into the southern hemisphere for the next six months!
Have a wonderful Wednesday!
