Thousands of motorcycles crowded the streets of York tonight for the city’s annual bike night. It’s the 20th year for the event. Live music, delicious food, entertainment all night long, and of course… motorcycles. Lots and lots of bikes. The Messingers come to York Bike Night every year.
“I love the pipes, the noise, the loudness, I love it. The louder the pipes the better,” says Amy Messinger.
But this year was extra special. Their daughter, Madison, got to ride along.
“It was windy, yes it was fun,” says Madison Messinger.
The Messingers say tonight is a night they can share their passion with their daughter.
“We enjoy motorcycling, it’s something we can do now because our daughter is old enough and we enjoy it. We enjoy looking at all the bikes we enjoy seeing all the people, it’s just a lot of fun,” says Amy.
Like the Messingers, the people, bring Zron Howe up from Florida every year.
“I walk down the street and see people I haven’t seen in maybe 10, 15, 20 years. They come back every year or a lot of them live here of course,” says Zron Howe.
Besides Bike Night, the festivities continue Saturday at White Rose Thunder at the York Expo Center. Harley Davidson is also offering tours at the manufacturing plant, kids are welcome to attend.
