Two people were shot, one fatally, in a home invasion in Clay Township, Lancaster County.
Northern Lancaster County Regional Police say it happened along the 500 block of Clearview Road shortly after 11:00 p.m. Thursday night.
Residents of the home told police that two males wearing masks and dressed in dark-colored clothing entered the home and shot two victims who lived there.
Police say around 2:45 a.m., one victim, Brett Simmons, 23, was confirmed dead and the other victim was taken to Lancaster General hospital to be treated for his injuries.
No word on the second victim’s condition at this time.
