Hundreds of people enjoyed Saturday's summer-like weather and took part in the 2014 York Walk To End Alzheimer's. The event at Cousler Park in Manchester Township, York County raises money and awareness for the disease.
Even before the event started, walkers had already surpassed their fundraising goal of $75,000.
Five-million Americans have been diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease; a number that is expected to more than triple by 2050.
