A Berks County man turned the tables on a burglar last week. Police say the burglar got into the home on Fry Road in Ruscombmanor Township through an unlocked back door. It was just before 10 p.m. The burglar then went into the master bedroom and came face to face with the victim, who was in a bathroom when the burglar entered the home. According to the victim, the burglar started to walk towards him and was pulling something out of his pocket. The victim then ran away and grabbed a shotgun. He fired at the burglar, who ran into the woods behind the home. Police say the man missed the burglar.

The burglar is described as a white male, about 6 feet tall and weighing around 200 pounds.
